The skyline already exists. We make it perform.
Bravion Architectural Systems is a commercial façade and glazing contractor for large-scale redevelopment — re-glazing, curtain wall rehabilitation, and building-envelope modernization for the towers that anchor Texas cities.
A contractor built for the second life of buildings.
Most of the commercial square footage this decade will not be built — it will be converted, repositioned, and re-skinned. Office-to-residential conversions, energy-code retrofits, historic-district rehabilitations: each begins at the envelope.
Bravion is vertically integrated — development and project management, an established Dallas glass operation, and self-performed installation under one roof — with a direct-source glass supply chain that gives owners leverage on both price and schedule. We supply the glass. We install the glass. We answer for both.
From a single elevation to four thousand openings.
High-Rise Re-Glazing
Full window replacement on occupied and active-construction towers — engineered access, floor-by-floor phasing, and pilot-floor validation before scale.
Curtain Wall Rehabilitation
Gasket and sealant renewal, IGU replacement, thermal upgrades, and structural-silicone remediation for aging curtain wall and window-wall systems.
Conversion Envelopes
Office-to-residential façade programs — acoustic performance, operability, and energy compliance for buildings changing what they are for.
Historic & Preservation Glazing
Certificate of Appropriateness support, sightline-matched replacement systems, and like-for-like glass conservation under the Secretary of the Interior's Standards.
1021 Main Street, Houston
A 36-story landmark from 1961, converting from office to residential. Bravion's scope: re-glaze approximately four thousand window openings across the tower's original single-pane aluminum façade — phased, pilot-validated, and executed inside an active multi-trade conversion.
Every building gets two engineered options — never one take-it-or-leave-it bid.
Full Thermal Replacement
Dual-pane argon Low-E insulated glass units in thermally improved frames — the energy, acoustic, and comfort upgrade that repositions a building for its next thirty years.
- U-factor 0.28–0.32 · SHGC 0.19–0.23
- STC 32–36 acoustic performance
- Exceeds IECC 2021 commercial requirements
- Supports LEED and utility-incentive pathways
Conservation & Gasket Renewal
Preservation-first envelope renewal — full gasket and sealant replacement with like-for-like glass conservation, holding original sightlines and historic character.
- Maintains original glazing appearance
- Shorter lead times, lower capital outlay
- 15% like-for-like glass reserve included
- Preservation-office-ready documentation
